In this hands-on workshop beginners will build their own blog and/or wiki - ready to use as soon as you return to work. It will be set up using free tools available on the Internet. You'll also learn how your students can set up their own blogs & wikis free of charge.
Experienced user will set up their own free Netvibes and del.icio.us accounts and learn how they can use these as learning tools.

Jo Kay will lead a hands-on workshop in Second Life which is focussed on exploring some of the leading educational projects currently happening in Second Life. Participants will have the opportunity to meet virtuall with a number of educators who are currently working in Second Life, and will gain insights into strategies for using this exciting new environment for teaching and learning.
