Teaching and learning are about to be radically changed due to the advent of a range of technologies that bridge time and space. This year’s conference explores the concept of TelePresence and how it can enable and support learning communities.
Our Case Study Speakers will share information about the Learning Communities they have been involved in and the role technology played in forming and supporting these communities.
Our Keynote and Featured Speakers will introduce you to an array of ideas about TelePresence and how you could be using it.
Our Sponsors and Exhibitors will showcase the latest learning technologies and how these could benefit you and your learners.
TelePresence refers to a set of technologies that allow a person to feel as if they were present at a location other than their true location. This generally involves images of life-size participants with mirrored environments where participants feel as if they are in the same physical space. These technologies have facilitated the emergence and rapid growth of learning communities whose members interact from remote corners of the globe.
Added to this are the advances in virtual reality that bring people together in a world other than their own. This will also have a major impact on teaching and learning of the future.
These questions and more will be addressed at Learning Technologies 2007 – along with lots of practical hints and tips from our case studies and demonstrations of learning technologies from our rich exhibitor community.

"This was one of the most inspirational conferences that I have been to for a long while".
"As a first timer I found the conference a great source to form many networks".
The conference will present expert opinion and showcase best practice from Australia, New Zealand, Europe and the USA. Click here to see speaker information.
